BAD BEER walkthrough At the start of the game you're in the pub, and the landlord wants to show you how bad the drink is. He's waiting for you to give him a glass to fill. GET GLASS (at which point he grabs it and fills it and gives it back to you) DRINK (to drink the beer) Now you're free to explore the pub. There are various clues to find out what's going on. 1/ Outside the pub (SOUTH from opening room) type EXAMINE SIGN 2/ In the kitchen (NORTH and EAST from opening room) try OPEN FRIDGE 3/ In the cellar (NORTH and WEST and DOWN from opening room) there's a hidden object. Try EXAMINE CRATES then MOVE CRATES. You are now trapped, but will be rescued shortly. 4/ If you go through the top of the stairs (NORTH and WEST and UP from opening room) a second time you get a scare 5/ In the south bedroom (SOUTH from top of stairs) EXAMINE BED Once you have found at least 3 of the above clues then next time you're back in the main pub room the local vicar comes along to show you some information he's found. EXAMINE PAPERS This will shift you in time, back to an earlier version of the pub. After a small delay you witness a fatal accident happen as a young boy is sent to fetch something and on his return falls down the stairs. Then things loop, and you have one chance to change time and prevent the accident. There are two solutions: 1/ as soon as the loop starts dash up to the south bedroom (NORTH, WEST, UP, SOUTH) and grab the plant pot. Go straight down the stairs again (NORTH, DOWN) and either give the plant pot to Will or drop it at the bottom of the stairs when he is there. Time is tight. He will take it and realise he doesn't need to go back up the stairs. or 2/ at the top of the stairs EXAMINE FLOOR (or EXAMINE STAIRS) where you will spot a trip hazard, and fix it If you fail to save Will the first time the game will give you a second chance. If you save Will or fail to stop the accident twice time will shift again and you are now in the churchyard with the vicar. The ending that plays out depends on if you prevented the accident or not, and even if you didn't if you witnessed it happening in person on repeat.
